Dr. Meassick is a distinguished public health leader with extensive experience in the conceptualization, development, and management of health programs across the globe. With a career spanning over 25 years, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to integration, localization, and collaboration, ensuring that health programs are not only impactful but also sustainable. Dr. Meassick's leadership has been instrumental in driving high-impact initiatives under the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), where she has aligned global and national health goals to advance the vision of an AIDS-free generation. Her expertise in fostering strategic partnerships has resulted in successful collaborations with National and local governments and organizations such as the Global Fund, UNAIDS, and numerous civil society groups, particularly in high-transmission zones. Through these partnerships, Dr. Meassick has played a key role in achieving measurable improvements in global health outcomes, with a specific focus on HIV prevention, primary healthcare integration, and social behavior change. A proven leader in both program and staff development, Dr. Meassick is dedicated to building organizational capacity and fostering excellence in program design, implementation, and resource management. Her approach is rooted in mentorship and coaching, empowering staff to reach their full potential and ensuring that program goals are met with efficiency and impact. Dr. Meassick has spearheaded successful strategies for integrating HIV prevention with other health initiatives, such as youth prevention, economic development, and COVID-19 response. Currently, as the Director and Technical Advisor at PROSPERBRIDGE INITIATIVE FOR EMPOWERMENT, Dr. Meassick provides strategic leadership in the areas of economic empowerment, poverty reduction, gender equity, and sustainable job creation. She is particularly interested in leveraging artificial intelligence to identify best practices and predict effective strategies for mitigating the impacts of climate change, hunger, and poverty. Drawing on her extensive experience working in diverse African countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Ethiopia, Malawi, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Rwanda, as well as in the United States, Dr. Meassick brings a wealth of global insights to her work. Dr. Meassick holds a Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from the University of South Florida, with a minor in Public Health, and has completed extensive training in global health, HIV prevention, and program management. Her expertise has been further honed through significant leadership roles in major international organizations, including USAID, CDC, and World Vision International. Through her strategic vision, collaborative approach, and commitment to rigorous program oversight, Dr. Meassick continues to drive meaningful and lasting change in global health and international development, with a particular focus on integrated design, systems strengthening, and achieving sustainable outcomes in health and economic development.
